VM Insertion tool...

    Although I agree with LeRoy about the stress of dealing with irregular
reels, I must disagree with his evaluation of using the insertion tool.

    I have mounted well over 2500 individual film chips within the past six
months using my trusty insertion tool and did not scratch a single one
(unless one got by me undetected).  In fact, I cannot imagine a more
unpleasant and frustrating experience than NOT using this tool.

    The type of film might play a part in this discussion.  I use Fuji
Sensia with no problems, but a friend who tried mounting a roll of Agfa
using his insertion tool scratched every second image!
