Hi Patrick!  I have the same exact experience with a Realist camera lens. 
The important question is this:  Do you see the difference in the pictures?
I tried mine and could not tell the difference in the pictures which shows
that the slight cloudiness has no effect.

(PS:  When I first saw this I thought that there was fog inside the lens. 
I took it apart and found that the haze is outside, like a slight etching. 
I also noticed that wetting the lens removes temporarily the haze.)
