Stitz beamsplitter offered by M Watters

First posting by this newbie.
Over the last 2 years I've taken stereo, first with one
camera (with graceful shift of bodyweight - ole') then with a pair of
automatic fixed-focus cameras in a home-made wooden frame.
I want to take film to the nearest 1-hour processor,
and get instant stereo pairs. So I bought that
Ukrainian beamsplitter - it will only work on
35mm SLRs with lenses of 55mm at shortest; so when
you're shooting a pair of half-frames you get
narrow vertical telefoto pics. Now Im using a Loreo -
- close to what I want, but the definition is poor
(among other things).
That Stitz for sale by Michael Watters might be the thing.
Are the mirrors big enough to accommodate wide-angle lenses,
 e.g 35mm or even 28mm?
Can you increase the distance between the mirrors,
 for telephoto or hyperstero?
What size adaptor rings does it have?
I'm isolated in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada
and so have no idea what the Stitz is worth...
I know that Reel 3D has the Stitz booklet, but it would
take me at least two weeks to get it.
Info/advice from M.W. (or anybody) will be welcome.
