Unknown 3D camera

Eberhard Burkard & other 3d-fellows,

The shutter / lens combination is typical Zeiss.
There were a couple of cameras, such as :

- Ikonta-35, Novar F3,5/45 in Prontor SV 1949-1953
- Contina II, Novar F3,5/45 in Prontor SV(S) 1952-1953
- Contina IIa, Novar F3,5/45 in Prontor SV(S) 1956-1958

The body also looks very 'Zeissy' to me. I don't know if it
is especially designed or if it is a 'two-glued-together' one.

My guess : A prototype of a Zeiss Contina IIa Stereo. Never
heard of it before although Zeiss was kind of active with
stereo cameras from 1925-1930. To name but a few :

Stereo Pathos, Citoskop, Stereax, Stereo Ideal, Stereo Nettel,
Stereo Ernoflex, Stereolette Cupido, Steroco, Polyskop,
Plaskop & Tenax

Why don't you pull a roll of film through this odd beast and let
us know the results ?
