Kodak Filter Rings

Series filter rings consist of two parts: a custom adpater that fits on the
camera and a standard retainer ring. Series filter holders have their own
standard non-metric threads. You should able to use any old Series V retaining
ring on your Kodak Stereo. I do not know how available they are in Europe.
Dave Bellmoff, of Damar Photo Supply, in Chatsworth, Georgia is a Tiffen filter
dealer who sells custom-made adapters on the side. He has adapters that allow
one to put large metric threaded filters (e.g. 52mm) on a smaller series V
holder. The advantage of this adapter is that 52mm filters today cost less that
Series V and are available in a wider variety of colors and types. You may
already have some. While not pretty, these adapters work directly on Kodak
Stereo cameras. The Wollensak's retainer ring threads are not standard.
Bellmoff also has odd-sized accessories including non-David White filters and
sunshades for Stereo Realist
