Beam Splitter for video camera
I am looking into the prospect of taking anaglyphic pictures by way of
using a video camera. Early experiments of still subjects work out okay
by carefully repositioning the camera to film independent left/right
images.
The video film is 'sampled' into a PC (computer) and where the individual
frames can then be combined using suitable software.
What I would like to do now is to try and get both left and right
images onto the video tape in the same frame; I acknowledge that the
width of each left/right image will be fairly narrow.
I was considering constructing my own device using either silver-surface
mirrors or possibly several prisms but thought I would check to see if
anything is available?
The camera has a 52mm lens. it is capable of magnifying detail at upto
120x and I am using it to record images on insects and other minute
creatures. I intend to produce 3D images of the same and open a 3D section
on my non-profit-making web magazine:-

Can anyone help?
Maurice.
