Hello - All right, I will now air a gripe which I've been holding.
I don't collect; I use. I've been working with V/M since the
camera first appeared when I was in high school. A whole succession
of them have been stolen from my car, backpacks, house ... and I
finally managed a few years ago to acquire new equipment, which is
in continuous use to document my professional work.
But I can't afford collectors' prices for things like the close-
up lenses. I have a set of 36"; I have a whole new technical
documentation problem which arrived in the mail today; I need
a set of 24" lenses, and the colledcgors hoard these things to
the exclusion of folks who would actually _use them._
I'm sure many have this complaint. But the appearance of a whole
flock of these lenses provokes me to make it public.
What is someone who relatively non-greedy, and who just wants
to use this equipment, supposed to do?
Calhoun, Seattle
