In view of Dr. T's field of choices for computers, I'll put in my 3 cents.

The Mac Zone, located in Washington state and probably other resellers as
well, are having a special sale on the 7200 & 7500 Power Macs. Cost for 7200
sans monitor & keyboard is $999.  It might be a good choice for the short
term. Comes with System 7.5.  800-248-0800.
