Normally to photograph a laser beam, you open the shutter in a dark
room and then insert a piece of white paper in the beam and follow it
along its path. It's the reflection off the white paper that the film
records. Try a few - you'll need to get the hang of making several
steady circuits so as to get a good average. It's sort of like dodging
and burning - just keep moving.
If you also want an image of the other things in your viewfinder, take
a normal shot on the same film before or after the laser/paper trick.
It's a double exposure of a type.
