Absolutely not! Whether we "collect" something for *use* or just because we
*like* it shouldn't matter a whit. It's our choice and our privilige. If
we want to sell the items at a later date for "fair market" values or as
a giveaway is no one's business but our own. We certainly shouldn't feel
guilty because we were wise enough or fortunate enough to buy when we did.

Well, I must admit that *I* do... :( I get real satisfaction picking up
cameras, or toy space guns and rockets and looking at them, fondling
them, and wondering who might have had them before me and setting them
inside a display case to protect them.

I too looked long and hard for my VM Personal Film Cutter. When (and if) I
decide to sell it I'm sure not going to give it away... unless it's to
someone who I think woiuld *really* appreciate it. Same with my VM
camera. I could have waited for a "real bargain" but I wanted it right
now. Consequently I paid top $$$ for it. My choice. And as Dalia said you
won't hear me "whinning" about the price. :)

Love reading all the helpful comments that all you folks have to share
