Views of a Model-D

Hello,

I would like to take (it or leave it) this space (the final frontier) to
publicly (humiliate?) thank Dr. George A. Themelis for deivering (babies?)
another superb viewer--and so soon after his computer files were violated!

I got in the mail a V-M Model D viewer that is--as you all often say--"better
than new." The optics and external cosmetics of this viewer are better than
any examples I have ever seen (and I have been in this field for 16 months
now).

My "new" viewer must have been in the hands of one of those dreaded
^collectors^! Thankful am I that it wasn't owned by a ^user^. [wink-y] I
can tell it wasn't a frequent user who had it, because it was left sitting
with some lead-acid batteries in it! No problem, though, Dr. T installed a
custom umbillical cord on it, so that I can use it with my prized PS-2 (a
power supply that is also a "Dr. T Product").

So I can finally view those reels I bought for myself (in the sweet name of
Santa!) last December. Ooh, and "A Stereoscopic Atlas of Human Anatomy" also
awaits. Who needs "(not) Warhol's Frankenstein"?
