I went out about 2 AM local last evening (Sunday) to take a look
after the cold front went thur. Pretty spectacular - I'd guess that the
tail was perhaps 25 degrees in length. But I couldn't look very long - the
wind chill was fairly brutal and my eyes stopped focusing very well after
about 5 minutes. This is MUCH more spectacular than was Halley (IMHO :-)
The tail was right in front of the end star in the Big Dipper's handle.
