Hi David,
>Yes, I have the same "problem". I have only used an Owla so I didn't realize
>that this might be a problem specific to this camera.
Hey, I'm glad to hear you have the same problem. Sorry, let me rephrase :
I'm glad to hear there's nothing wrong with my OWLA and you came to the same
conclusions. :-)
>I was wondering if all stereo cameras gave such a small space between frames.
NO, not at *all*. I have 10 camera's now and the OWLA is the only one to
make narrower immages. Pehaps they had their own masks which were somewhat
narrower.
>By the way, I just received a bright, shiny, new (to me anyway) Realist 3.5
>from Dr. T. Good price, great condition, fast, friendly service. I can now
>compare film chips and see how "different" the Owla is.
Congratulations with your Dr. T aquisition ! :-)
You'll see the difference is obvious. There is no black space with the REALIST.
At most a slight "overlap". Mounting is no problem.
If you find out were alluminum close -up masks are still being produced ,
please let me know. I saw a message on the list (I think) a while ago that
said EMDE was available again in Normal, Distant and Close format.
I'll have to do a search on the digests.
Best Regards.
Patrick.
