First of all, I'd like to congratulate George and Martha in their
"winning work", and want to thank all three of the photo-3D'ers
for entering!

That said, I'd like to say that this was the very first competition I
ever entered (have had a "real" stereo camera for only about a year).
Needless to say, it's my great timing at work again. I enter my
first time, and what happens? George enters our competiton for the
first time as well. Sigh..... Great timing or what? :-)

All kidding aside, I think that "nationlization" of our club's membership
and competition is great, especially with the calibre of work done by George
and other members the photo-3d membership. It lets us see good work and
gives us something to shoot for. The diversity of images from a larger group
of photographers can expand and stimulate activity.

Mike K.

P.S.- I picked out my entry slides just before going to the meeting from
my last batch of five rolls of film. I picked out two and my wife
picked out one. Want to guess which one did the best? You guessed
it. Having someone detached from the taking of the images
seems to help. What to guess who pick's 'em next time? :-)
