Eric, you're correct that work print prices are cheaper than
timed prints. I usually forget that since I do the timing
on a telecine. 

However, I suspect that timing a roll that 
comes from a stereo still camera would either be damn
near impossible or far too expensive. For in addition to the
higher per print cost there is usually a per hour timing
charge. I suspect that this lack of timing is why I'm never 
satisfied with the slides that come from Seattle Film Works.
