Mounting first roll/flash

Just two quick observations:
  1) When I first started cutting my rolls for mounting I realized that
the best way to keep right chips on the right and left chips left was to
run the film through the cutter the way it went through the camera.
That means left to right, emultion side down, and upside-down.
So,the first full pair right image is first-just upside-down.
  2) Most of you know I prefer flash bulbs for stereo. The old cameras
used 1/25 sec. for flash and that's what I use when I go to electronic
flash too. If one uses 1/50 sec. thinking it's close to an SLR's 1/60 sec.
then you're already a full stop off.
