NO BINARY FILES, PLEASE

like every? other 'digest' subscriber, i have no opportunity to pass over 
individual postings, other than to scroll through them.  I am at my 
1500th line of 'mailist.*" in my digest, and just had to take this moment 
to rest my 'next page' finger, and send this request for consideration 
of those of us who are not able to delete unwanted message.  I believe  
binary or other non plain-text files should not be posted or attached 
to postings to this list.  I post this publicly in case others disagree, 
and care to respond.

Now i will return to my digest for an unknown 
period of scrolling past unreadlble gobbldygook (unless this is a secret 
SIRD)
