It Came From Outer Space in 3D

There was an article in this morning's Rochester paper about the
upcoming movie "It Came from Outer Space" at the Eastman House's Dryden
Theater. They say:

"The Eastman House had already planned to show It Came From Outer Space
at 8PM April 18. But museum officials have just learned they were
shipped a 3-D print of the film. The 1953 film, one of the better films
of its type, adapts a story of alien invasion by novelist Ray Bradbury.
Richard Carlson stars for respected B-movie director Jack Arnold. The
museum is located at 900 East Ave. Admission is $5, $4 for students
and members. Special 3-D glasses will be provided."

I called and spoke with the projectionist, who confirmed that this is
in analglyph format. I don't want to start another uproar like I did a
few weeks back with "Invaders From Mars", but has anyone seen this
one? Is it worth a couple of hours on a Thursday evening?

BTW, if anyone is interested in seeing "The Mask", the 1961 movie with
a few 3-D segments, it is scheduled for 8 PM Friday, April 12 at that
theater. It's a nice theater. My family and I saw "Psycho" there last
month.

Best Regards,
Bill Davis, Webster NY
