Hama flash adapter "modification."

 I happen to have a Hama shoe adapter that looks like the one pictured in
Reel 3-D catalog.  Can someone tell me what specific "modification" is
needed to get iit to fit the Realist shoe?  Looks like the plastic needs
some drilling and that's all- before I start hacking away, would someone
