Cleaning solutions

Off the track a bit but may be worth the diversion. When using solvents as 
recommended in the messages on cleaning camera assemblies, please remember to 
use proper protection and ventilation. Paul Lehman's contribution on the use of 
tri-chloro ethane reminded me of how I used it to clean printed circuit boards 
and metal enclosures being manufactured by a company I worked for between 
semesters in college. I never used gloves, and now have an annoying and hard to 
get rid of dermatitis on my hands. May be related - may not be. Why take the 
chance?

Incidently, when the EPA came around to see how we were disposing of the stuff 
we said "It just evaporates!" They were not amused.
