Unless they have adequate ultraviolet filtering (I assume they don't) then
they'd be dangerous to one's eyes.  Dark glasses cause the pupils to open
up wider than they normally would for the ambient light level, but if
ultraviolet radiation isn't attenuated, then the eyes will get a much higher
dose of ultraviolet than no glasses at all!  And it isn't all that great of
a radiation w/o augmentation.  :-)
