Roland,
It is very difficult to judge the tone of e-mail posts (thus the use of the
":-)" happy face. I'm not defending XXX cd roms or massive camera
collections, although I see nothing inherently wrong with either interest.
I do object to your apparent (:-/)condemnation of everyone on this list for
failing to support _your_ interest. Very few of us seem to be living in the
past. In fact, the recent discussion of digital technology and Sanyo's 3D
TV system seems to indicate a very progressive look toward the future. And,
although 3D movies are of great interest to me, producing your own images
rather than looking at someone else's certainly can't be condemned (no
matter how old the technology you happen to use). I don't think you're
going to win any converts by somehow shaming them into buying a product. I
know that I was excited by the news that some old and recent 3D films were
available from 3D TV Corporation. I was going to look into it, but now I'm
not too sure. My apologies if I read the tone of your post wrong.
