The viewing angle of the 3D lenticular back projection TV set
was about 60 degrees (+/- 30 from the center). It allows
two people to sit in front of the screen. First they showed
a short introduction which told the viewer to move the head
until the left eye sees a red dot and the right eye a blue
dot only. This was done to ensure perfect alignment.
There are several zones of proper alignment, which allows
several people to obtain a stereoscopic impression.
Zones with stereo view and pseudo-stereo alternate.
At IFA fair, they had an arrangement with two chairs
in a small room. I had to wait 30 minutes to take a look
into the box for a 5 minutes experience. :-)
