chemicals/sticky Kodak shutters

I checked today and Klean-Strip VM&P (Varnish Makers and Painters) Naptha
(VM-46) is readily available at Eagle Hardware. According to a chemist at
the Klean-Strip company the VM&P part is basically sales hype-- it's just
naptha. A medical supply house had something called Unisolve designed for
removing bandages, but they had no technical information. They also don't
normally stock it, so I ordered a $9 can to see what it was. I can always
use the Unisolve to remove price tag labels!
In any case, naptha works for me so I'll continue to use that on sticky
Kodaks, paying due heed to the safety warnings...
