One of the nice things about the increasing interest in Virtural
Reality is that there is now an economic incentive for companies
to develop hardware and software which may indirectly (or perhaps
inadvertantly) benefit us folk.
I also wanted to alert fans of the fully modeled computer
animation series REBOOT that another series, which I *think*
is from the same company, is in the offing.
I caugt on satellite tv feed yesterday a movie length kid's
movie which is "Transformers:BeastWars". It is in the
current boy's "action figures" (dolls) mold which are both robots
and other forms, depending on which way you fold them. The plot
was rather pedestrian (especially compared to REBOOT) but I noted
the author was Bob Forward (Robert L Forward perhaps? Respected
physicist and author of a couple of the best science fiction novels
I've ever read (IMHO :-) ).
Anyway, lots of tracking, panning movements which could be fodder for
anyone with a frame grabber.
At this point I don't have the national level show dates/times.
I'd strongly suspect that it will show up early saturday morning
in the USA markets.
THANKS
