Jackie O's Realist format Slides

My local paper, NEWSDAY, put together a page of photos and prices realized
from the Sotheby's Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis auction, and lo and behold,
there's a picture of a cheap 'steal-the-light' stereo viewer and a number of
Realist-format slides that went on the block.

The slides are Kodachrome, processed and mounted by Kodak, whose logo can be
clearly seen in the illustration.

The caption: Stereoscopic viewer and 21 slides of JFK as President. Price
realized: $9,775.00.

Does that make these the most expensive Realist-format slides to ever change
hands? Anyone on this list happen to be the lucky bidder? Jeepers, you could
almost buy an RBT camera with that kind of money... ;-)
