I'm sure. They are smooth and securely mounted. Remember, they are inside
a folded card-stock sleeve during sealing, and anyway they are inset within
the mount.

Probably not like the one I bought. This is a heavy-duty, continuous-duty
type, with separate "heat" and "run" modes. It's got a solid aluminum
chassis, and an adjustable thermostat. The exit stage has a finned aluminum
spring-loaded plate that serves both to hold the item in place until you
pull it out, and to dissipate heat quickly from the item. It is warranted
for 2 years.
There are more inexpensive models (the cheapest I've seen was $89; "$40
to $60" is a pretty wide range; did you actually check the price?), but
they tend to be plastic and intended for extremely light-duty use.
But hey, they might just do the job for somebody else. I'd like to see
some feedback from anyone else who tries one.
