I had even greater trouble since I didn't have a power cord AND I only
had 220 Volts available. The voltage problem was solved with a trans-
former (up to 3,000 Watts), the power cord was bought in the USA at a
hardware shop.
No, they don't exactly sell the cords with the round "negative plug".
But they sell extension cords, approx. 12 ft. long, with a rubber plug
(no rubber duck <g>) on one end and its appropriate rubber counterpart
(which I simply call "negative plug" since I don't know the correct
english word at the moment) on the other end. The latter can be easily
cut round with a sharp knife. Presto!
Suitable cables should be available for approx. $4.50. Should you not
be able to find one, we can go shopping for one when we meet in
Rochester ...
