Re: PHOTO-3D digest 1340

RE: Mint Realist Dalia picked up on!
I see Dalia has an eye for a bargain Realist for $135 MINT! But my carp
is that she called the Realist a "brick"! This shows an ignorance of
photographic history..the only "brick" is the ARGUS C3 series, which
they never could discontinue even after putting out later models like th
C44. In this vein the early NIKONs were called hockey pucks because they
took a beating like the TIMEX. <G> BobH

RE: Pushed Kodachrome..
While my comments were correct concerning the complexity of the process
it was mentioned that Kodakchrome 200 was pushed for "rock"
photographers at a surcharge of perhaps $30 a roll. (One could see that
if they segregated rolls and ran only those they could reset the machine
schedule but would charge the moon for it.) I asked my local camera shop
and A&I in Los Angeles will push Kodachrome for a surcharge. They were
busy so did not look up the price. BobH
