My last roll of Kodachrome (25) came back perfect. Previous
rolls (K64) had one or more of the blue dots in the viewing area.
My brother has shot a few rolls of K64 recently and he has had
less problems with the blue dots as well.
I have never seen the dust problem you mention.
As far as I know, Kodachrome from Canada is sent to NJ for
developing. When they first closed the Toronto operation and
started sending it to NJ the problems were common. But maybe
Kodak Canada got enough complaints that they twisted some
arms :)
