If this is so, why do many stereo cameras have spirit levels built into
their viewfinders?  I know the Realist didn't, but I have an aftermarket
one that was made specifically for it, so *somebody* thought there was
enough of a need to actually manufacture one.  Even the RBT X2 has the
option.

If this is a "stereo myth", I'd love to see it debunked.
