Re:producing viewmaster reels from non VM masters

Can someone give me some info on producing viewmaster reels?  I have shot a 
series on a National Park not included in the viewmaster catalog and would 
like to produce a set of three reels.  I did not shoot in the viewmaster 
format and wonder if they can produce the reels from reduction printing of 
my half frame masters shot on Ektachrome.

Would it be better to shoot on a lower contrast material intended for 
duplicating like negative emulsions?

Any information on this method of distribution would be appreciated
