I have used a plotter and red and green pens to plot some
of my computer-generated wire diagrams on a transparnecy
film.  I then put them on an overhead projector and viewed
them with anaglyph glasses.

It works.  I was able to see 3-d (but with considerable 
"ghosting")

It is convenient and easy to do but if I want to leave my
mark to those young souls, I would rather pick up my TDC
and take them through a good 3-d projection...
