Sorry - I can't describe it properly, because I've never tried it, and
my memory of the exact details may be faulty. David Burder described it
to me, and my visualisation could be wrong, as well...

HOWEVER, this discussion of close-up camera techniques reminded me that
Stereoscopic Society member Geoff Thurston produced an interesting 30
plus page booklet describing his rather "try-it-and-see-what-happens"
approach to close-up camera making. It's VERY easy to understand and
contains many thought provoking techniques. Also colour stereo pairs of
results for free viewing, loads of line-diagrams etc etc.

I can't remember how much he was asking for it (it was self-published in
1994). I guess he will still have stocks. If anyone's interested, I'll
call him and check the details. Any takers?
