->Subject: Macro Stereo Beamsplitter lens
->
->I have a Macro stereo beamsplitter lens for my pentax, and I am
->having a problem getting proper exposure.
->
->The lens fills the frame with an object the size of a fly, and has to
->be used strictly with a flash. My question is how do I figure the
->flash power setting to give me a proper exposure. I do not have any
->information on the lens or the non-adjustable F stop it is set to.
->The lens was handmade in Holland.
->Anyone have any ideas on how to go about finding the correct flash
->setting?
->Thanks,
->
->Wolfgang Sell

It's my guess that what you have is NOT a beamsplitter. It's a twin lens
Clemetson attachment made by Hugo de Weiss.

If I'm right then Hugo is the best person to help you - I can probably
find his address if it's not in the products and services list <VBG>.

Stereoscopic Society member David Robinson has one of these lenses, so I
could get details from him if all else fails...
