Nishika Info Wanted
- From: P3D Ralph Johnston <copley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I just picked up a Nishika at a church yard sale for $25. It is MINT ie.
the original plastic wraps still on, and the batteries never inserted. Also
included was a flash, case, and Vincent Price instructional video.
Recently I read in this newsgroup about some of the limitations of this
camera but can't find the letter with my Eudora FIND command. WHAT # OF THE
NEWSLETTER WAS THIS IN? The letter talked about some of the stupid control
features of the flash etc. Many other letters talk about the much-maligned
Nishika. How bad it it?
I plan to use the camera for scanning only. I like the StereoRealist better
but don't own a negative scanner. I doubt that Konica would scan it because
of the 5perf spacing. However, they might scan the 4perf as pairs in the
standard 8perf format. Then I can discard the middle two images, and load
the end two images onto my Internet WEB page for cross-eyed or wall-eyed
viewing or both. Check out my LINMAR PERSIANS WEB PAGE for 2-d cat photos.
Soon there will be a 3-d page.
