I agree, and I'll continue to take shots that have things in front of the
window. I have to admit though, I was surprised at just how disturbing
that effect can be. I have a couple of slides which would be excellent,
except for that. And it is definitely much more pronounced in projection
than in a viewer, probably (at least for me) because I tend not to be able
to see completely to the edges of a slide in a viewer (my eyeglasses don't
let me get close enough usually). Come to think of it, that's the same
problem I have with the viewfinder, and that may be responsible for my
not noticing the object in question when I'm framing the image!
