Sure.  That's what the fields of view are--but at the window only.

Why?  The field of view for the left frame starts out entirely on the left,
that for the right on the right, and with increasing distance the two fields
of view move toward each other until they become coincident at the window
distance.  That's convergence.  Why is it "misleading" to call convergence
"convergence?"

How is the adjustment done that "sets the stereo window"?  If you have some
method _other_ than converging the fields of view, I'd sure like to know
what it is.  Seriously.
