VM collector question

Hi All,

Spent part of Dad's Day at Renninger's antique show near here and picked up
some VM stuff...wonder if someone can help me determine approximate value.

It's 8 amateur ViewMaster personal reels from the 1950s or early '60s, of a
kinda redneck wedding and reception. In addition to a fair amount of the
'heads-out-of-frame' type views, there are some other funny views, and some
poignant ones. The bride and her sister are as homely as can be; the groom
and his best man look like young thugs with their greased-back hair. The
father of the bride seems to get drunker and more disheveled as the reception
goes on. There are a couple of younger 'party girls' (both with the
cat-shaped eyeglasses) smoking and drinking and dancing up a storm, a bunch
of creepy decrepit-looking aunts uncles and grandparents, and a shot of 'the
band': two 10-year-olds playing accordions. They're a real hoot. My wife and
I got a lot of laughs out of them, and I think they are well worth the $25
they cost me.

Still, I wonder about collector value. Eventually, of course, I'll be selling
everything to pay my nursing home rent, and I look to put value estimate on
items as part of my inventory. Any ideas? I know the commercial personal
reels of the same era by a New Port Richey Fla photographer have sold for
$20+ each at auction.

Thanks for any light anyone might shed.
Best wishes,
Andy Burr
