Solution for antique stereogram curling?

I picked up an antique stereogram and 4 stereogram cards this weekend.
The are all from the turn of the century, and in black and white with
color hand tinting. The photographs appear laminated to the cardboard
back somehow. The cardboard backs are curling so that the middle of the
card is further from the eye than the top or the bottom, producing a bow of
about 1/4" in the middle. This appears to be a common problem for these
stereograms. I have a Seal heat press for mounting my B/W photos to card
stock. Could I use this to flatten the pictures out? Would it delaminate
the photos from the cardstock?
Thanks,
Tom busey@xxxxxxxxxxx
