     I,too, have one of these viewers.  It does ghost, but not in an 
     offensive way.  I only really notice the ghosting off the film (as a 
     sliver of the image appearing on the left side of the slide mount;  
     and , even then, it only catches my attention when the slide has a 
     lighter area on the left edge.  I have some slides where the left edge 
     of the image is dark, e.g., a tree, and I can't discern any ghosting.
     
     Overall, I would recommend finding, buying and using this viewer.  I 
     haven't found a hand holdable mono- or bi- single frame 35mm viewer 
     that I like better than the Sawyer's Bi-Lens (and Dr. T has one for 
     sale).  No I'm not asking for a commission :-)
