Help - Condenser and Mirrors for ViewMaster

I have cracked one of the condensers in my Stereomatic 500 projector and
wanted to know if anyone has a spare for sale, or has tried to find or make
a substitute.

I also can see that the mirrors on the Stereomatic are not as good as they
should be - has anyone got spares or attempted to resilver them?

I might say that despte the above the projector presents on discernable
problems when projecting.

Finally has anyone tried to convert the VM projector to single or twin halogens?
