Owla for sale

I recently got a great deal on a Realist 2.8 with German lenses, a TDC 116
projector with case, and an original box (?1950's) of 100 complete EMDE
mounts all in great condition and all for $350.00. I already had a 3.5
Realist I bought from Dr. T and my original Japanese Owla. I don't want to
risk being called a "collector" so I would like to sell the Owla.
Unfortunately I bought it (actually my wife bought it) at a used camera
store and paid book value (at the time) for it. I need to sell it at that
price to keep peace in the house. I am asking $325.00 US plus postage. I
will, of course, offer the standard 30 day money back if not satisfied.

The camera is in excellent shape except for a small amount of paint chipping
around the lens housing. It has a leather case that is in fair condition
with one snap tab missing and a section cut out around the tripod mount (I
cut this out to accommodate a quick release tripod mount). It has 3.5 Owla
lenses, B to 1/200 shutter (local shop tested shutter - 1/200 was actually
1/170), cold shoe with PC flash connect with X and F synchs, bubble level in
viewfinder but no range finder. I will include an aftermarket cable release
adapter which screws around the shutter release (I believe it is an old
Nikon product).

The one thing that is different about the Owla is the film chip size - it is
slightly smaller than the standard Realist. Where Realist chips touch or
slightly overlap the Owla has a small space between chips. The actuall image
size is standard but there is no extra to adjust the window when using
standard masks. This isn't a problem for normal shots, but if there is
anything close in the picture you need to use medium or close up masks. I
ended up using the Nimslo or half frame Albion mounts on all my shots and
got excellent results.
