I've used them both, but haven't ever done a side-by-side field test. 
They both work just fine. The FEDBoy is very quiet and compact, but the 
TDC 116 will be roughly have the price (5" lenses). ($600+ vs. $300)

Hopefully someone will have some to look at in Rochester...
