Earl,
   Though you may have meant the line above as innocent humor, there are 
some of us who feel that this is not the appropriate forum for ethnic jokes. 
 Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive, but I feel that his type of humor only 
strengthens many peoples' prejudices through acceptance of stereotypes.
  I appologize to everyone for putting in my two cents here, but I think it 
needed to be said publicly.
