VM Viewer Model?

My brother recently found a VM Viewer in aparrently new condition, in what 
looks like the original carry case. It is an AC powered hand held unit, 
dark brown with gold trim, white button on top that says "LIGHT". The AC 
power supply says "model F transformer". There is no model number on the 
viewer. 

Can anyone provide some detail about this unit? Thanks in advance!
