Joerg Meyer,

When you are in San Francisco, visit the Exploratorium, which is one of the
best Science Museums in the world, they have many hands-on exhibits related
to perception, including 3-D. I am sure that you will find it a worthwhile
experience. The Exploratorium is located at the South end of the Golden
Gate Bridge.
