Russian 3-D Slide Adapter. Infos ?

Hello out there,

Has anyone ever heard of the Kiev (or other Russian brand) 
3-D slide device? You can simply stick it at the end of the (35 mm)
cameras lens which will create a split transparency that can be
looked at in a special viewing device which is included in the
price. (The price is pretty low, ~40 $).

I'd like to know if it is worth it, if the effect and image
quality is any good. I don't think there are any adapters
to projectors for split-35mm-slide-projection, are there ?
Technically it should be no problem, if you use the same 
splitting optics plus polarizers, or am I wrong here?
Any opinion welcome !
