Nimslo electronics question

It looks like I have a bad luck with Nimslo.
First I wanted to buy one for my friend and
it appeared that the previous owner had
the batteries reversed.
This of course killed all the electronics
in the camera. Sadly, I had to leave it
in the store (to my surprise it was gone
after few days. Somebody must have known
how to fix it, or he was only an old camera
collector).
Now my camera decided to fail
without any warnings and reasons.
It was OK before the flight to Europe,
I always keep my cameras in the hand
luggage (which went through 2 X-ray gates).
After the arrival it failed on the first
picture. I still get the light metering
(the red and green LEDs come up) but the
shutters don't close as long as I keep
the release pressed.
I have the Nimslo service manual from
REEL 3D with all the diagrams. I guess that
the integrated circuit is having trouble.
To understand how the complete circuit works
I need to know more about that IC.
I couldn't find any info about the internal
structure and functionality of that chip.
None of the electronic suppliers in the area
could help me.
Does anybody know anything about that circuit?
Any information about its internal diagram or
source for the replacement would be greatly
appreciated.
Wlad, Ottawa, Canada.
