I know about the batteries reversing from the previous
year posting. I wish the fix was so easy. Just for the sake
of experimenting I reversed the batteries in my Nimslo
(it is already broken anyway). The shutters were still
in the B mode, but the red/green LEDs were not present
in the viewfinder. So I returned to the proper batteries
polarization ('-' touching the metal battery compartment
cover). I also measured the voltage: perfect 4.5 V.

I am afraid I will have to study the schematics. This
weekend I will check the mentioned flash pin shortening.
I want to try to get in touch with the person that bought
the broken Nimslo from the local store (I hope the store
owner will give me the buyers address - he has it for
the reason of 30 days warranty). Maybe this buyer is 
a quiet Nimslo electronics guru.
